I’m due to do some carving demonstrations at a few events over the forthcoming months, at Sewerby Hall,, near Bridlington, East Yorkshire. Unfortunately due to a terrible weather forecast (which never really materialised), the event wasn’t very well attended; despite this, we met some lovely people and enjoyed the day.
I carved a moon-gazing hare on a small piece of laburnum:
Laburnum always looks effective, with the deeper chocolate colour contrasting with the yellowy white.
