Pictures of the finished replacement shields for the 16th century “Green Dragon” pub in Lincoln, along with the ones being replaced.
I took my cue from the old shields and kept the paintwork bold and simple – as can be seen from the last picture, they are to be mounted high on the building (the “U” shaped areas between the peaked rooves), so any great detail would be lost.
