Another of the carving demonstration days at Sewerby Hall, East Yorkshire. A red-hot day, attended by many friendly and interesting people, and overall very enjoyable. All topped off with fish and chips for tea in Bridlington!
The last of the three log benches at Sewerby hall ~ similar to the one which featured gannets, in that the carving on the back-rest had to be relatively simple
A nice article on the sculpture in the Scunthorpe Telegraph: https://www.grimsbytelegraph.co.uk/news/local-news/tree-carver-begins-latest-masterpiece-1920590
The personalised oak plaques have been oiled and delivered ; it was nice to do some different forms of wildlife for a change! More pictures on the Gallery.
