The carvings for Alver Country Park were loaded onto the truck this afternoon, and set off on the long trip to Hampshire. The size of the pieces ~ a large wildlife “totem pole”, a 4 metres-long sign and two tree-trunk supports ~ meant it was going to be a tricky job loading them safely, but despite some nervous moments all went smoothly and I can sleep sound tonight!
