I was invited to the opening of the Sensory Garden at Jubilee Park, Woodhall Spa last week ~ and what a pleasure it was seeing the completed project. Julie, Mick and Carl (plus many more behind the scenes I’m sure) have created a beautiful space for able-bodied and disabled visitors to stimulate the senses with scented and edible flowers, a water feature, specially tuned wind-chimes and stunning wood and copper work. I am thrilled to have some of my work on display as part of the garden, and hope it is enjoyed by the many visitors to this fantastic public park.
The day itself showed the Jubilee Park at its best, with visitors enjoying the outdoor pool, tennis, croquet and bowls, and with the sound of a cricket match drifting over from the adjacent pitch.
