It’s always good to have some indoor work to crack on with when the weather turns nasty, and during a couple of drizzly days (when Sewerby was out of the question) I got on with this piece ~ commissioned as an anniversary present from a lady to her husband.
I used a lovely rustic piece of oak and gave it a natural, “waney-edged” look. It was fun fitting the initials of the couple and their child into a heart shape ~ and can you spot the addition of a special request, a hidden dog’s paw?!
